The Bleedin’ Blues make a return to gigging form on the 23rd of December in Muddy Maher’s. They’ve been on a break since the 8th of September. Clem Buckley — lead guitar — has been undergoing Physiotherapy treatment on his left arm for a repetitive strain injury he’s been dealing with for years.
“It’s been really tough for me the last few months but I’m back playing Guitar again, I’m booked in for surgery in February but the Physio is going well so hopefully won’t need it. Looking forward to the few gig I’ve over Christmas, We’ve been working on a few new Songs and might have a special guest or two for our gigs” “Also I’d like to thank Mairead Harte from Carrigaline Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic for all her great treatment”
The lads our biting at the bit to get going again so this promises to be a great night. They are also playing in Swell on the 30th. Clem and Mike (Bass) also have a acoustic gig with another local favourite David Hope in Swell on the 27th December .
